Day wise tour itinerary

Day 01
Day 01 : : Bangalore

When you arrive at the Bangalore railway station/airport, our company representative will meet you there. He will accompany you to the hotel and help you check-in. He will then hand over the welcome kit to you and explain the itinerary. In the afternoon, you will be taken on a local tour of Bangalore.

Bangalore is now known as Bengaluru and was built by King Kempegowda. The city is filled with many places of interest like the Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Tipu’s Fort, Art Gallery, Government museum, Bull Temple, Ulsoor tank, Viswesvaraya museum, aquarium, Gavipuram Cave Temple, etc. In the evening, shopping can be done in the Commercial Street, MG Road, and the Brigade Road. You can visit the Forum Mall, Mantri Mall. Garuda Mall, etc. where you can shop for international brands. You will then return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02
Day 02 : : Bangalore – Mysore

After a mouth-watering buffet breakfast in the morning, you will check-out of the hotel and drive in a cab to Mysore. Mysore was once the capital of the Wodeyar rulers. The city is famous for its sandalwood carving, silk weaving, and ivory work. You will check-in to the hotel after arriving and will then proceed for a local tour of Mysore. You will see the Mysore Palace, Mysore Zoo, Gumbaz, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangapatna, Tipu’s summer palace, Chamundi Hills, and the Rail Museum. You will visit the picturesque garden which has been laid out conscientiously in a beautiful cascade. These gardens are filled with musical fountains, bright blossoms, swings and slides for kids. You will return to the hotel for the overnight stay.

Day 03
Day 03 : : Mysore – Ooty

After your breakfast in the morning at 8 AM, you will travel to Ooty. Known as the ‘Queen of Hill Stations’, Ooty is situated in the Nilgiris, the meeting point of the Eastern and the Western Ghats. On your way to Ooty, you will see the Mudumalai Forest and the Bandipur forest. On arriving in Ooty, you will check-in to the resort. The evening will bring a boat ride in the Ooty Lake and you can go shopping at the Bazar Street. You will have an overnight stay at the resort.

Day 04
Day 04 : : Ooty (Local tour) – Connor – Ooty

After a delicious breakfast at the resort, you will be taken for an excursion to Coonoor in a fun-filled toy train. Coonoor is located 17kms away from Ooty. Sim’s Park is the main attraction in Ooty. You will also see the Dolphin’s Nose, Wellington, etc. You will then return to the resort in Ooty. In the afternoon, a local tour of Ooty will bring you to the Botanical Garden. The well-maintained green carpets of the lawns are a relaxing sight to the visitors. The Mini Garden is known as Children’s Lake Garden and is located on the way to Boat House. Then you will visit the Rose Garden, Government Museum, Art Gallery, View Point, Wenlock Downs, etc. You will come back to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 05
Day 05 : : Ooty – Kodaikanal

After a filling breakfast in the resort, you will pack up and have a beautiful drive towards Kodaikanal. Also known as Kodai, it is situated in the western crest of the popular Palani hills. All the tourist places in Kodai are at walking distances. You will check-in to the resort in Kodai and stay overnight.

Day 06
Day 06 : : Kodaikanal

Your breakfast will be proceeded by a local Kodai tour. You will visit the Kodai Lake, which is shaped like a star and spread over a whopping 24 hectares. This lake is famous for fishing and boating. Then you will go to the Solar Observatory, the Bryant Park, and Coaker’s walk. The Coaker’s Walk is a beautiful semi–circular path providing a captivating view of the plains. You will later visit the Telescope House, KurinjiAndavar Temple, Pillar rocks, Green Valley view point, waterfalls, etc. You will get the evening free at your hand for shopping purposes, followed by an overnight stay at the resort. 

Day 07
Day 07 : : Kodaikanal - Thekkady

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Thekkady. The place is described by the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. It is a heaven for nature and wildlife lovers and adventure trekkers. After arriving in Thekkady, you will check-in to the resort. Afternoon will bring in a cruise in the Periyar Lake. You can take a rejuvenating Ayurvedic massage which will relax your muscles and nerves. You will spend the night in Thekkady at the resort. 

Day 08
Day 08 : : Thekkady – Munnar

The early morning breakfast will be followed by a drive to Munnar. This is a lovely hill station in Kerala and was the summer resort for the British Officials in South India. It is now a paradise for Honeymoon couples. You will arrive at Munnar and check-in to the resort. Rest of the day is available for your rest and leisure and you can visit the downtown local market in the evening. You will spend the night at the resort. 

Day 09
Day 09 : : Munnar

A tour of local Munnar will be followed after breakfast. You will see the tea plantations as well as the Tea Museum. You will also visit the Top Station, which gives a panoramic view of the amazing Tamil Nadu.You will also get to see the ruins that remain of the ropeway station. This will be followed by an afternoon visit to the NilgiriTahr at the Eravikulam National Park. You will finally visit the Devikulam hill, admiring the verdant hills and the natural aroma. You will stay overnight at Munnar.

Day 10
Day 10 : : Munnar – Kumarakom

Breakfast will be followed by a drive to the famous Kumarakom. It is a popular backwater resort in Kerala and houses some of the best luxury resorts in the world. After arriving there, you will check-in to the resort and the go to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary in the afternoon. Backwater photography is a must try here and the sunset from the resort looks lovely. You will stay the night at the resort.

Day 11
Day 11 : : Kumarakom - Alleppey

A morning drive will bring you to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha. This is a small city between the ocean and the lake. Alleppey is popular for houseboat-making, which are known as Kettuvallam. You will check-in to the houseboat by 12PM and will stay there for around 22 hours for a backwater cruise with all the meals within the houseboat. You stay the night at the houseboat.

Day 12
Day 12 : : Alleppey – Kovalam

You will have your breakfast at 9AM at the houseboat and will then check-out for a drive towards Kovalam. It is a natural marvel with international popularity. Kovalam is a favorite tourist spot since a long time. It offers a lot of job which tourists all around the globe want to grab. You will check-in at the beach resort and rest for the day, staying the night there.

Day 13
Day 13 : : Kovalam –Trivandrum-Kovalam

You will precede in the morning for a full-day tour of Kovalam as well as Trivandrum, which is the capital of Kerala and is, located 16 KMs from Kovalam. You will see the Napier Museum, Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, SreeChitra Art Gallery, KuthiraMalika Palace and Museum, Light House Beach, Zoological Park, Shankumugham beach, etc. You will return to the resort and stay overnight.

Day 14
Day 14 : : Kovalam – Kanyakumari

You will have your breakfast and then drive to Kanyakumari. You will check-in at the hotel there. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of India. It is the land’s end where the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean, and the Bay of Bengal meet. If you are lucky to be there on a full moon day, you can see the sunset and the moonrise in the same hour. In the afternoon, you will visit the Kanyakumari Amman Temple. You will also see Vivekananda Memorial which has been built over the Vivekananda Rock. It is said that Swami Vivekananda was in the habit of swimming to the rock and meditating there for hours while he was in Kanyakumari. You will also visit the government museum. In the evening, you will see the sunset and return to the hotel for overnight stay. 

Day 15
Day 15 : : Kanyakumari- Trivandrum

You will see the sunrise in the early morning. It is actually one of the very few spots in the world which shows the sunset and the sunrise in the same area. You will then have your breakfast, after which you will check-out and be transferred to the Kanyakumari Railway Station or the Trivandrum airport for your return journey home.
